We are searching for the best of the American Persimmon. We think the American Persimmon is the best tasting, most hardy, most trouble-free persimmon for areas north of the Ohio River, Plant Hardiness zone 6a and less and that Kaki persimmon may look beautiful but can’t come close to the lovely sweet taste of the homegrown Native American Persimmon.
